Pulmicort Turbuhaler 200mcg
Indication: Maintenance treatment of asthma.
Administration: It is designed for consistent, regular use to manage chronic symptoms rather than acute attacks.
Dose Indicator: A red mark appears in the window when a low number of doses remain.
Warnings: Do not use for acute asthma attacks.
Prepare: Unscrew and lift off the cover.
Load Dose: Hold the inhaler upright (brown base at the bottom) and twist the brown base as far as it will go in one direction, then twist it back the other way until you hear a click.
Inhale: Breathe out gently (away from the mouthpiece), place the mouthpiece between your teeth, seal your lips around it, and breathe in deeply and forcefully.
Hold & Repeat: Remove the inhaler, hold your breath for several seconds, then breathe out slowly. If an additional inhalation is required, repeat the steps.
Clean: Replace the cover tightly and rinse your mouth with water and spit it out.
