Postinor-2 is an emergency contraceptive pill (“morning-after pill”) used to prevent pregnancy after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure. It contains 0.75 mg of levonorgestrel per tablet, designed to delay ovulation, and is most effective when taken within 72 hours (3 days) of intercourse
