Tetracycline eye ointment
It is used to prevent neonatal conjunctivitis. It works by killing or stopping the growth of bacteria.
Apply a 0.5 to 1 cm strip of ointment into the lower eyelid 2–4 times daily, or as directed by a doctor.
Duration: Usually, treatment lasts 5-7 days for bacterial conjunctivitis, but up to 1-2 months for trachoma
