Description

Respiratory tract infections: Including pneumonia (lung infection), acute sinusitis, and bronchitis.
Urinary tract infections (UTIs): Including complicated infections and kidney infections (pyelonephritis).
Skin and soft tissue infections: Treating infections of the skin, including cellulitis.
Other infections: Chronic bacterial prostatitis (prostate gland infection), typhoid fever, and plague.

Dosage: Take exactly as directed by your doctor, usually once a day.
Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. It can be taken with or without food, though taking it with food may help reduce stomach upset.
Duration: Complete the full course, even if symptoms improve within a few days. Stopping early may lead to the return of infection or antibiotic resistance.
Missed Dose: Take it as soon as you remember. If it is nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed dose.
