Prophylaxis (Prevention): Taken before, during, and after travel to areas with malaria risk.
Treatment: Used for acute, uncomplicated P. falciparum malaria in adults and children over 40kg.

For Prevention: The medication is started shortly before traveling to a malaria-endemic area, continued daily during the stay, and continued for a specific number of days after returning.
For Treatment: The medication is taken daily for a set number of consecutive days.

Take with Food: Take at the same time each day with food or a milky drink to maximize absorption.
Vomiting: If vomiting occurs shortly after taking the tablet, a repeat dose may be required.
